When a transition into the unknown is made, a whole new landscape may be seen before us. From the first step into a new world, the landscape may appear bare at first, and the greatest reward may be in the journey itself.

This is the music of disorderly robots, renegade protagonists on far away lands with Quantel painted skies and towering constructs casting shadows on ordinary lives.

A science fiction tale in itself - with escapism at the fore - taking recognisable motifs and bending them, often to darker places, but always pushing forward with a newly found energy.

AUW's first full album release is a direct result of the journey taken to evolve from its previous sound to the one of today. Echoes of the past remain, both in its roots with techno and breakbeat, and also in its heavy use of retro synthesiser sounds, and signature synthwave traits.
